On Museum Day, the Smithsonian Institute offers free admission to hundreds of museums and cultural institutions around the country. It’s important to note that free admission isn’t granted to the general public at the door. Here’s how to participate:

• Review the list of participating institutions and select which location you would like to visit.

• Select “Get a Ticket” and provide a valid email address

• You will be able to download the Museum Day ticket or have it emailed to you

• Bring the ticket to the participating location, which will allow free admission for you and a guest
