The Halloween Harvest Festival, one of Astoria and Long Island City’s premier fall celebrations, returns to Socrates Sculpture Park on October 26th, 2024. This beloved annual event, now in its 4th year, promises a day full of festive activities, creative competitions, and plenty of family-friendly fun.
This year’s festival, sponsored by Chateau Le Wolf, returns with its fan-favorite annual dog costume contest, featuring the cutest and spookiest pooches you’ll ever see. Also, the ever-popular “Fight of the Gourds” is back, where participants can showcase their most inventive pumpkin designs before catapulting them into the compost bin. Will your pumpkin make the grade?
Enjoy workshops, live music, and food vendors while exploring the park's vibrant art installations. And don’t forget to dress up! Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best.
From carving pumpkins to crafting costumes, the Halloween Harvest Festival is all about celebrating creativity and community in a picturesque setting. Mark your calendar for this free, must-attend event that captures the essence of the season in the heart of Queens.
