New York Landmarks Conservancy has been saving landmarked buildings and revitalizing communities since 1973. Its annual Sacred Sites Open House returns as an in-person event this year. “Open Doors” allows participating congregations to showcase their buildings and histories via lectures, musical performances, and special guided tours, as well as highlight a variety of cultural and social service programs offered throughout the year. During Sacred Sites Open House, hundreds of New York’s most amazing religious institutions will open their doors to the public, giving visitors a glimpse inside the artistic, architectural and historic treasures found in these houses of worship.
