The Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze is a premier fall event featuring larger-than-life installations, a unique soundtrack and synchronized lights. From September through November, thousands of hand-carved jack o’ lanterns illuminate the incredible landscape surrounding two historic locations: Van Cortlandt Manor in Hudson Valley, NY and Old Bethpage Village Restoration, a 209-acre living museum in Long Island, NY.
At this one-of-a-kind event, you’ll find a display of more than 7,000 pumpkins. In years past, themed areas have included dinosaurs, undersea creatures, local landmarks, and monsters from horror classics. This year, the Hudson Valley location marks its 20th year with a giant birthday cake and a Celebration Arch. Additionally, the even boasts a new Gourd and Goblet VIP Tavern experience, a giant Kraken rising from the Croton River, and a working pumpkin carousel. The Long Island location will feature a jack o'lantern tribute to the Day of the Dead and a pumpkin Long Island Hall of Fame commemorating local legends.
